Who runs this site

This site (valters.solutions) is operated by SIA “ErgoMatch”, a limited-liability company registered in Latvia (registration No. 40203560812, registered 9 May 2024).

Contact: valters@valters.solutions. The company is not currently registered for VAT.

For data-protection purposes, SIA “ErgoMatch” is the controller of the personal data described below.

What I collect, and why

When you get in touch. If you book an intro call, email, or message me, I collect your name, email address, and the time slot you choose. I use this only to reply and arrange the call. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Privacy-friendly analytics. I measure aggregate, anonymous usage (pages viewed, rough device type and region) to understand what’s useful and improve the site. There is no advertising, no cross-site tracking, and I never sell your data. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

The AI-readiness check. If you use the AI-readiness tool, I collect the answers you select (about your business - its size, a revenue range, and how you work) and the report generated from them. I use this to produce your result and to improve the tool. The answers are not tied to your identity unless you choose to add your email. Legal basis: legitimate interest in providing and improving the tool (Art. 6(1)(f)). Please do not enter sensitive personal data in the optional free-text fields.

Your report by email. If you ask me to email your report, I collect your email address to send it to you. Legal basis: taking steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)) and my legitimate interest in following up (Art. 6(1)(f)).

The email list (optional). Only if you tick the marketing box do I add your address to an occasional email list about practical AI for small businesses. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can unsubscribe from any email or by emailing me, and I record when you gave consent so it can be shown. Getting your report never depends on joining the list.

Cookies & storage

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The analytics are cookieless; they may keep a small amount of data in your browser’s local storage purely to count visits, which you can clear at any time in your browser settings.

Who else processes your data

I rely on a few trusted providers, who act as processors on my instructions:

• Vercel - website hosting and cookieless traffic analytics.
• PostHog (EU region) - privacy-friendly product analytics.
• Supabase - secure database that stores booking requests, and the AI-readiness answers, results and any email you provide.
• OpenAI - generates your AI-readiness report from the answers you give (US-based; covered by a data-processing agreement and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
• Google Workspace - sends your report and any follow-up email from valters.solutions.

Where any data is processed outside the European Economic Area, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long I keep it

Booking and enquiry details, and AI-readiness answers and results, are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted - unless we start working together, in which case contract and accounting law set the retention period. If you joined the email list, you stay on it until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal data - just email valters@valters.solutions. You also have the right to complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv).

Changes

If this notice changes, the “last updated” date above will change with it.
